Hope For The Hopeless

Welcome to SHIELD THE ORPHANS OF WAR SOCIETY website, where we are dedicated to supporting and empowering orphans of war. Join us in making a difference and bringing hope to those who need it most.

Millions of Afghan children have lost everything to war. No home. No family. No future.
We’re here to change that.

Shield the Orphans of War Society is a Canadian nonprofit focused to rescuing, protecting, and empowering war orphans in Afghanistan. Through direct aid, education, and skilled trades training, we give these children the tools to survive—and thrive.

Shielding Afghan Orphans: A Lifeline for the Future

We are dedicated to providing a brighter future for the orphans of the Afghanistan war. Through the establishment of modern and self-sustainable orphanages across Afghanistan, we aim to offer these children a safe haven where they can thrive.

Our facilities include living spaces, educational centers, medical clinics, sports facilities, and skilled trades training facilities. By supporting us, you are contributing to the well-being and empowerment of these vulnerable children, giving them the opportunity to grow, learn, and build a better tomorrow.

The Founder

SHIELD THE ORPHANS OF WAR SOCIETY, was founded in 2019, by Michael Ahmadzai (an Afghan Canadian) who was inspired by a God given vision in 2010. In this vision his younger sister (who passed away at the age of 1 in Afghanistan decades before) appeared to him in late August 2010 with a call to help her save the orphans.

Michael is a serial entrepreneur/leader who currently is also the Founder/CEO of Fight Smart Technologies Corp (fightsmarttechcorp.ca), Supreme Security & Strategic Consulting Inc (supremessc.ca), and Hydra Boost Pro Vitamin Water (hydraboostpro.com).
